"Railroads, to me, have always incorporated history and legend, celebrated in song, story, myth,
dreams. A train whistle blows, and you feel the pull of the horizon. That whistle says, “I’m going
places.” The people who built the tracks and maintained them, Gandy Dancers, have lent their colorful
name to these socks." Kath
These socks are knit up in our Cody yarn (shown in the color "Thistle"). They are nice all season weight with many color choices. An easy 8-stitch, 8-round repeat with an easy rhythm makes the rounds fly by. The decreases change
directions every 4th round with their paired yarn-overs, resembling little cables.
Knitted top-down sport weight socks with easy repeating yarn over pattern, flat-iron heel, wedge toe.
Women’s medium, length of foot easily adjusted to size needed.
