One of our newest beanies is a blend of yak, tencel, and fine Mountain Merino®. A one-of-a-kind premium USA Made product. The cuff is made from 100% fine Mountain Merino® wool in the natural undyed grey. The dome of the beanie features our premium Yak blend of 18% Yak, 57% black wool, 25% Tencel.
Yak fiber is harvested during the yearly checkups from small operations around the country.. These hats are warm and a great American-made product.

Tencel is made from Eucalyptus wood. To make Tencel, the wood from Eucalyptus is reduced down into a cellulose viscous solution. The pulp is then forced through spinnerets resulting in a stringy fiber that is spun into a soft, lightweight and breathable material.
